Google Apps Videos
"How do you use Google Apps?" Tell Us and Win a $100 Workshop Voucher! ITSCO is giving a $100 gift certificate (one per person) to each educator that submits a short Google Apps video on classroom integration. Pick one Google App from the list below and tell us how you use it in the classroom. We want to know what subject and grade level you teach, a description of the project, how much classtime is dedicated to the project, how much teacher preperation is need, what your students do with the Google App, and any other pertinent information that may be necessary to understand your Google App lesson. Questions you may want to address (though not required) include: Why is this your favorite Google App lesson; what new learning opportuntities has the lesson created; what impact has this had on your students; and how has Google Apps altered your teaching style? PRESS RELEASE
The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce that Instructional Technology Services of Central Ohio (ITSCO) has been selected as an Exemplary Program for the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) 2009 Program Report to the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). As part of the Report to IMLS, the State Library of Ohio must identify three to six exemplary projects. State Library staff selects these projects based on their relation to LSTA goals, impact of the project on the target population and the ability to be replicated in other parts of the state.
