The class will explore iTunes, including how to find and subscribe to podcasts, video podcasts and educational games and apps, as well as syncing these resources with the iPad and basic set up and performance optimization of the iPad2. You Work, We Work, iWork: iWork for the iPad*

The Socially Connected Class

Get Organized: Bookmarking and DropBox

An online bookmarking site and online file service could change the way you do your job and use and manage the internet. Learning for the Digital Age is a professional development initiative for Ohio’s K-12 administrators and teachers that explores the role of technology in supporting critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and communication -- the skills students need to be effective in today’s classroom and tomorrow’s workplace. This statewide collaboration of Ohio’s Educational Technology Agencies, Educational Television Stations, and eTechOhio provides high-quality interactive training for educators to help students use technology to master these essential skills for success throughout life. We’ll work through the 4 Cs by exploring great research tools for your students, including INFOhio’s core collection of videos, encyclopedias, and the Research Project Calculator, making it easy to plan strong project based learning. The 21st Century Learning Commons will allow you to gain a greater knowledge of 21st Century skills, collaborate with peers across the state and communicate a broader vision for your classroom.
