What is Interactive Video Conferencing?
Interactive Video Conferencing is connecting two or more sites via audio and video through the use of video conferencing equipment. Videoconferencing may be used to hold meetings, conferences and workshops giving participants the opportunity to see, hear and share information digitally in real time.
Do I have Interactive Video Conferencing Equipment?
Teachers interested in participating in educational opportunities via Interactive Video Conferencing need to know if their school has the equipment necessary to connect with a content provider. The first point of contact needs to be your district or school technology coordinator. They will be able to tell you if your district has the necessary equipment and where it is located.
I have Interactive Video Conferencing equipment, what next?
Teachers who have the equipment need to look for outstanding content. Check out ITSCO's Professional Development page to view our current Interactive Video Conferencing offerings. Once you find a class that interests you, register for it by downloading the registration form and sending it to ITSCO. We will contact you to confirm your participation and perform a test call before the session is scheduled. In addition to ITSCO's professional development offerings, we have listed a number of excellent content providers from around Ohio.
Who do I contact with questions?
If you have any questions about Interactive Video Conferencing educational opportunities provided by ITSCO, questions about the technology or about your school equipment, please contact ITSCO.
