 ¡Qué suerte!   Su profesora de español ha ganado la lotería. ¡ Gané 30 millones de dólares!

 ¡Sí , Sí , Sí , your Spanish teacher has won the thirty million lottery!  She is sharing her windfall with her students and their families by sponsoring a free ten-day trip to Spain.  Groups of students and parents have been formed to plan each day of the trip.

The following cities and regions are those she most enjoys and wants to share these special places with you and your family.

Should you decide to join Señora on her all-expense-paid, once-in-a-lifetime trip to Spain, your task is to plan with your team members, Twenty Four Hours in Spain. Your team will be composed of  four members, three adults and one high school student.  You will draw your role from one of the cards.  Click on ROLES to find out more about them.

Once your group gets together, its task will to prepare a Power Point presentation detailing your proposed "Twenty Four Hours in Spain." Your presentation MUST include ten specific requirements.  To see a check list of these TEN REQUIREMENTS, click here.

TEN REQUIREMENTS FOR TWENTY FOUR HOURS IN SPAIN

1.  You must use the entire 24 hours and allow six hours for sleeping.

2. You must decide on a culturally significant souvenir that is NOT  paper.

3.  You must use public transportation.  You cannot use a rental car.

4.  You must arrange to visit ONE EACH of these sites/attractions during your 24 hours:

     a.  A place with "non-Spanish" origins in Spain.

     b.  A place from Spain's "Golden Age" (constructed between 1500 and 1700)..

     c.  A place built during the 20th century.

5. You must see or participate in an event/sport/pasttime typical of the Spanish culture.

6.  You must give precise travel times for intercity travel.  Travel times must be based on real schedules.

7.  You may estimate intracity transportation times, tour times, and meal times.  Your estimate must be realistic.

8. You must decide in what restaurant you will eat La Comida. (La Comida is the traditional main meal eaten from two to four in the afternoon and often followed by a short nap.

9.  You must decide where you will spend the night.  You must name your hotel or hostal and give the price for one person/one night.

10.  Each person cannot spend more than five hundred dollars each.   ¿Piensan Uds. que la señora está hecha de dinero?
